Met a friend at Brix for Happy Hour. And then home to check on my plants. We had quite a storm last night!

45 minutes. A couple of bolts. A plug or two. And....

I know been a few days. Work has been kicking my butt and it's been mega hot out.

As has my tomatillo plant.

And the herbs. Man...I have already started giving sone away.

No peppers yet. But the plants are looking great!

This happened on my way home from work yesterday. Someone got a little too aggressive passing some parked cars and hit my driver's side mirror. Fortunately, it didn't take the whole thing off the car. I have a new one ordered already.

Home made smoked pork tacos!

Raining a bit today. But it's good for the flowers.

The king is dead. Long live the king! Or...after almost 7 years, my cell phone finally died. Had to get a new one. Man...they're all so big now!

Old one on the right. The old phone wouldn't charge through the charging port anymore. I had to pull the battery out to charge it. A chip on the motherboard went out.

The new phones screen is almost as big as my old phone.

In spite of the size difference, they're almost the same weight. The little circle in the middle of the new phone is the fingerprint sensor. Just touch it with your finger, and the comes on. Neat!

Sorry mom! I celebrated with TACOS! Tried a new place today. Called De Leons. Not bad at all.

It's a million degrees outside, but I went for a little walk anyway. Whew! Thank goodness for air conditioning!
